The General Wolfe is synonymous with fine dining starting with a delectable choice of appetizers, and ending with delightful desserts. We have created a number of distinctive dishes drawn from the finest traditions of the old world cuisine, but each bears the unmistakable stamp of modern culinary trend. We use only the freshest ingredients and the shortest processing methods upon which Novelle Cuisine is founded. There are three dining rooms overlooking the mighty St. Lawrence River with a magnificent panorama view of Kingston and spectacular sunsets.
Our "A' La Carte" menu features hot and cold appetizers, soups, salads, Fish, Seafood, Game, Lamb, Poultry, and Beef, accompanied by a fine selection of Wines, Domestic and Imported ranging from $28 to $265 a bottle. Along with our "A' La Carte" Menu there is the "Bill of Fare", a five course dinner, that starts with Soup Du jour, exotic greens and a choice of four entrees
Sirloin steak A La Maitre D, Noisette De Porc Aux Champignons, Pheasant A'La Cassis, Fresh Fish of the Day.
For Dessert you will have the choice of crème caramel ,parfait Aux liqueur, coffee or tea. All dinners are served with fresh vegetables and potato of the day. Friendly service that goes on right at your table side preparing Ceaser salad, Bonning Dover Sole, Flaming Pepper steak, Carving Chateaubriand. Conclude your dinner with a lighter more decadent treat, such as one of the restaurants signature creations Generals coffee, Jubilees, or Crepes Suzette Flambéed at your table, it will be an experience you to remember for forever.
